Reunion || Amy & Doctor
A smile slowly crept onto his lips as he took her in. Ginger hair, pale face, and an expression she had worn many times thanks to him directed at the Doctor. She looked as though she’d barely aged a day since he’d last seen her. There was something that had changed though, that much even he could see, though he was unable to put his finger on it. He could see the confusion across her features, and honestly, he hadn’t been expecting this one either, after all this time. “Forgotten me already?” He asked lightly, though an undertone of something a little darker was slightly evident in his voice. He leant closer to her, already noting the hesitance coming from her. He lingered close, placing a hand gingerly over her shoulder, the faintest of grins across his lips as his mouth hovered over her ear. He whispered quietly, just loud enough for her to make out, one single word.
“Gotcha.”
Amy wanted to believe that the man standing in front of her was the Doctor. Her Doctor. But he said it himself, it was not possible. “Forgotten you..?” She snorted. How could she ever forget the days she had with her raggedy man? She held her breath as he placed her hand over her shoulder. At that moment all she wanted to do was to wrap her arms around him an pull him in for the biggest hug but she knew better. The man could easliy be an imposter, or a doppelganger or something much worse.
“Gotcha.” His voice was soft but with a hint of something dark and sinister. Yet, it was enough for Amy to shake off her doubts. Wrapping her arms around him, she smiled wearily and whispered, “Hello, old friend.”

Oh. Hello there. My name is Amy Pond. Well, actually It's Williams, to you. When I was a kid I had an imaginary friend. The Raggedy Doctor. My Raggedy Doctor. He had a box called the TARDIS. The brand new ancient blue box. No one believed he was real. And somewhere between growing up and moving on, I stopped believing too. But he wasn't imaginary. Oh he was real. And the night before my wedding my imaginary friend came back.
